This is the Labor Day Weekend. After just getting back from an extended vacation, we opted to stay close to home this weekend.
This is a federal holiday observed across North America on the first Monday in September. It was created in 1882 to give workers a guaranteed day off. Here in St. John's all stores are closed.
So, if you find yourself having a free day, maybe you can gather your fabric scraps and find something to do at Tipnut. They have more than 50 Fabric Scraps and Remnant Ideas for you to check and All Free Sewing has 28 Scrap Fabric Projects.
I hope you're enjoying your time home, after your vacation.
