Christmas Tea & Sale

I had a very successful fair at the Anna Templeton Christmas Tea & Sale. And, I purchased a few gifts from other crafters. It's important to support local businesses and I try to do that as much as possible. A special thank you to all who visited my booth. Now, it's time to relax with a cup of tea and put my feet up!
Enjoy!

New Booth

Day one, of the Anna Templeton Christmas Tea & Sale, is over! It was a great one.

Yesterday's set-up was fairly simple with my new 6 foot table top display that my husband designed and created. Have a look! The display frame and stand folds up and goes into its own custom made fabric case. The three blue and aluminum panels are packaged separately. It's all very compact. The lights have their own posts that fit into custom slots at the back.

The acrylic Shimmers stand on turntable (beside me in bottom photo), was also designed and constructed by my husband a few years ago.

All folded and ready to go (almost)!

Packaged and ready. We did a custom bag for the parts

A very well lit booth! Lots of compliments on the display today!!

Market Day

Yesterday there was snow on the ground and today it was up to 13 + C and sunny. Go figure but I hope it stays warm for awhile.

Today was spent at Some Good Market. It was a bit of a slow morning but things picked up after lunch. Apparently there was a lot going on in the city today with a some school markets, the Farmer's market, tax free day downtown and a continuation of 20% off at the Avalon Mall. I did give out all the advertising brochures for next weeks Christmas Craft Fair. Since the venue has changed this year, we want to pass along this infomation on to as many people as possible.

I took a couple of pictures of my table space. You will laugh at the wall colours!
The colours on my scarves are a bit off too. I didn't notice until I viewed the post.

My Display at the Atlantic Canada Trade Show (ACTS), Halifax

Here are several views of my section of the Newfoundland Labrador booth at the Atlantic Trade Show. The company setting up the displays were very cooperative and prompt. My section didn't have a black panel, which had been requested. Within minutes that was corrected. My lighting was changed too.

To the left (on back wall) is a large poster displaying the wholesale items. Below that is a clear Plexiglas shelf holding Art Cards and Wearable Art Pins. Thanks goodness for the Dollar Shop! I purchased small art easels to hold samples of the cards. If you look closely, you will see them.

Everything hanging is attached with Velcro.

I have a sample binder with samples of all my wholesale products. My tablet has a spread sheet installed for doing orders and that is connected to a small portable printer. So, I'm all set up. It's going to be a very busy weekend.

Craft Fair

This was day 2 of the Fine Craft & Art Fair here in St. John's, NL. We began setting up on Tuesday and finished about an hour prior to the 2 o'clock deadline. To the left is a picture of my booth and the other picture shows a view from my booth.

Tuesday was hectic but today was a bit more relaxing. I did get some time to visit the other booths. At the King's Point Pottery booth, I had a chance to watch the slide show of photos taken by Linda Yates and David Hayashida, at the world's biggest craft exhibition, the Cheongui International Craft Exhibition (CICB), South Korea. Linda Yates and David Hayashida (King's Point Pottery) and Isabella St. John (Blue Moon Pottery), travelled there in October for the opening.
