Happy Halloween!

As my friends know, I'm not much into Halloween! But when you have grandchildren . . . well, you get the drift. My granddaughter, Gale, loves Halloween. So at the end of the season, last year, I bought this panel at Fiber Lilly. It has taken me all year to finish this, which I did while in Nova Scotia this summer. Gale helped me sew on the decorative buttons.

I didn't add any extra strips to the sides but did do lots of free-motion stitching over it. Gale loved it! And that's all that matters.

Icicles

No, we aren't having winter weather, yet!! However, I am making new shimmer ornaments for the Christmas Craft Fair next month. These icicles will be sold in sets of three and are stitched in white and silver thread. I have new packaging ordered to fit these longer ornaments. These will sparkle on a Christmas tree or hung in a window.

Happy Thanksgiving, Canada

Happy Thanksgiving to my family and friends, near and far. We just got home last Tuesday afternoon after 4 1/2 months, so needless to say, it has been a very busy week.

I'm getting ready for the Craft Council Christmas Craft Fair in early November and the Anna Templeton Center Christmas Tea and Sale in December.

New Shimmer Ornaments and Needle Felted Wearable Art Pins are in progress. Photos will be posted soon.
