Have you checked out the quilting blog, Crazy Mom Quilts? It has lots of interesting 'stuff' (my favorite word)! Each Friday, Amanda Jean posts a project that she finished and then invites others to post their finished project for the week. It's amazing the number of people who post weekly. This week there are 116 posts with lots to check out.
Two more places to visit are Jay Bird Quilts and Red Pepper Quilts.
Enjoy!
My sister and I went to Wool Trends today. As I was leaving, I saw this leaf on the ground. The colour intrigued me so I brought it home. It looks good on my leather look placemat. This is an excellent colour combination (at least, I think so).

Wishing it was SPRING!!!
As I was looking out the window of my daughter's place here in Chicago, I wished it was spring! It's been really cold since I've been here. Certainly a lot colder than St. John's, NL, where the sea has a warming effect. I just read that St. John's has the mildest winters in Canada! Hmmm! I don't know about this winter though!!
Since my heart is looking toward SPRING (still months away), here are some leafy designs to check out. Also, I pinned a few art quilts with leaves on my Art Quilts pinterest page.

Touch of Fall in Windsor, NS
While still on vacation in early September (Windsor, Nova Scotia), I was surprised to find these wonderful colours of fall. We don't usually see the leaves changing colour so early back home in Newfoundland. In fact, the leaves are just now turning on a few trees in my neighbourhood. My maple tree is still green and I still have roses in bloom. However, that can change in a heart beat!

Enjoy!!
