1000 Posts! To Celebrate - A Giveaway!!!!

Post 1000 today!!!! YAH!!

To celebrate, I am having a giveaway open to anyone, anywhere! To be entered, just leave a comment, any comment is accepted. Maybe you can let me know in what part of the world you live. It's up to you. You don't have to be a follower but you will get an extra chance to win if you are. You can follow via email or bloglovin. Just send a second comment telling me how you are following. That's it! Good luck.

The giveaway will end on May 24,2015. I will remind you during the next week or so when I post.

Oh, yes, the giveaway prize will be three of my shimmers and an art card. If you aren't familiar with my shimmers, you can see a few of them HERE & HERE. Lots more throughout the blog. I do three types of art cards: embroidered flowers, iceberg and felted abstract.

I'll let the winner decide which type of card and shimmers (if in stock) they would prefer.

    I follow you as well! From Newfoundland! Howdy from Alberta! I also wanted to ask you about these "Newfie Quilts" that have handrawn scenes on them? Do you have any suggestions? My daughter is trying her hand at one, but only through descriptors from her friend, who is not a quilter at all! Thanks in advance if you can help!

      I've seen a couple of these quilts. They have been hand embroidered drawings of iconic Newfoundland Labrador motifs that someone has drawn. I don't know if they are available for sale. I suggest doing a search for these. You never know what's out there and you might just come across exactly what you are looking for. Thanks for your comment. Good luck in the giveaway.       Thanks Judy! I'm at onlydiamonds at hotmail dot com. We will do some research on this. She's been working on plain muslin with crayon's. I will see what they have on line and go from there! Internet...what an amazing thing! ha ha!
