March of Mugs

I dropped down to the Quidi Vidi Plantation this afternoon to see the March of Mugs. It was a fantastic display of mugs, cup & saucers, vases, and small dishes. This event is hosted by local potter, Alexis Templeton.

The March of Mugs features the work of fourteen ceramicists from Canada and the Untied States:

Fong Choo, Louisville, Kentucky; Robin Dupont, Winlaw, British Columbia; Michael Flaherty, St. John's, Newfoundland; David Hayashida & Linda Yates, King's Point, Newfoundland; Debra Kuzyk & Ray Mackie, Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia; Erin McArthur, St. John's, Newfoundland; Danny Meisinger, Gardner, Kansas; Isabella St. John, St. John's, Newfoundland; Marcelina Salazar, Chatsworth, Ontario; Michael Schael, Cambridge, Wisconsin; Wendy Shirran, St. John's, Newfoundland; Reid Schoonover, Clintonville, Wisconsin; Alexis Templeton, St. John's, Newfoundland.

It will take a couple of posts to show you all the fabulous pieces! Enjoy!!

Don't you just love the view!

The red dot means it's sold! There were lots of red dots to be seen.
