I had errands to run, one of which was a visit to the local Dollarama, I found a very simple ice cube tray with a snap on lid. It holds most of my metal bobbins. I will be getting another one tomorrow.

Happy October 1st!! It was 25C today which certainly isn't the norm for here but I'll take more of them.
I had errands to run, one of which was a visit to the local Dollarama, I found a very simple ice cube tray with a snap on lid. It holds most of my metal bobbins. I will be getting another one tomorrow.

DeleteI have never seen a cube tray with a lid. I will be on the hunt now and grab one or 10 up! My husband laughs at love of plastic containers and drawers. I MUST be organized, lol.

This was the first time I saw them with lids. Bought one to determine if the bobbins would fit. Went back this am an had two more.
DeleteNow THAT is an inspired idea!!! We actually use a couple of those in our freezer but I never would have thought of this purpose.
ReplyDeleteI try to think outside the box (sometimes)! I have never been pleased with the bobbin cases that are on the market. Maybe if I used bobbins occasionally it wouldn't matter. But I'm always changing bobbins in the embroidery machines when I make my shimmer ornaments and I like to get them out quickly. I have decided that three to a cube is enough. Four makes it a little difficult to get out in a hurry.
