I'm usually working on several things at the same time. To keep some order to my work, I keep projects on trays. That way, I don't have to keep cleaning off my table. I just put the tray away for the next time. This works well for me.
I also have clear plastic scrap book storage boxes to hold supplies. These are very easy to take out and put away!

Trays are a great idea. I often use Rubbermaid totes for the same purpose. Most of my projects are larger than the ones you work on, so that's why I need a bigger method of storage. Now that I don't work with recycled denim I don't need quite so many totes...yay!
ReplyDeleteAll my yarns are in covered totes and stacked. I take them down when I work on larger projects.
DeleteI like the trays. I use plastic shoe boxes but they take up a lot of room. The trays look much more compact.
ReplyDeleteI also have the plastic shoe boxes. They hold my embroidery floss.
