I just had to capture some of the vibrant, fall colours from my garden. It is a great way to preserve your own colour pallet for autumn. Don't you just love these colours!
In fact, you can match your threads to the colours in your photos. Print out the photo, stick it in a journal and put thread samples with it. Of course, don't forget to write in the colour numbers for reference. Or, if you prefer, dye or over dye your floss.
If you have a set of Inktense Blocks, it's easy to dye floss for a project. These blocks of color, once applied and set, are permanent. A great way to get one-of-a-kind colours.
I love summer so much I almost feel guilty enjoying the color changes in Northern Indiana. They ARE beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours, this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI love the sedum - they are always so colourful in the fall. One more plant that I miss now we don't have a garden.
