This morning I finished the underwater scene from Tuesday's post,
Something Fishy. I call this one:
Hide & See. It will be custom framed 5" x 7" with a black metal frame. The background is a Bali Batik. I used eyelash yarn to the left, and Sari Silk Yarn to the right. I like the way the silk shines in the piece. Some hand dyed cheesecloth is used in the right hand corner. The middle section is hand embroidered with a variety of threads. The fish are from my fantasy fish collection.

beautiful!
ReplyDeleteExquisite.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo
DeleteThis is wonderful Judy - I love those little fishes playing hide and seek among the seaweed.
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated. I have lots of yarns and threads but I had to spend some time the other night getting the most appropriate ones for underwater scenes.
