• By chance, I found Eglantine Stitchery with its extensive list of sources for free stitching patterns. 
• Free Vintage Patterns at French Knots (all things stitchy for crochet, embroidery, applique and quilting)
• Some embroidery ideas at Hayfield Cottage  
• I like the Bedside Pockets Organizer at Sew Can She. This is a free tutorial. Using the non-slip shelf liner is a good idea for holding this organizer under the mattress
• Of course, you can't go wrong with Quilt As You Go Tutorials from Patchwork Posse.

Sewing Projects

I have been busy in the studio trying to get ahead of the game by doing production work now instead of in the fall. The embroidery machine has been stitching up a storm making shimmers and wearable art pins. However, I haven't been finishing anything as that will be something to do during the summer while sitting outside.

I've also been searching for sewing projects to have on hand in case I want to do something different. Here's a few to check out:

Hello June!

Well, June 1st turned out to be a rather cold day. The sun was shining but we had a northerly wind - Brrrr. I hope things warm up soon. In any case, most of the nation is experiencing much warmer temperatures.

I follow it via email. They have lots and lots of links to FREE patterns and tutorials related to craft, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, knitting, crochet, embroidery and sew much more. Scroll down to the categories section for a list of what's posted.  

The Missouri Star Quilt Company has lots of videos related to Quilting. I was interested in the Improve Tote Part One and Two. Looks like a nice tote.

Here at With Heart and Hand, I found lots of free patterns for sewing accessories. Worth a look.
