This one is 4 1/4" x 5 3/4" and was hand stitched.
The heart block mini is 3 1/2" square. Each block is less than an inch and consist of 9 pieces. I would never attempt doing that today - I think I have more sense (Grin)!!

I have never made miniature pieces but they are,on my list of things to do. At 63 years of age, and needing two pairs of glasses plus a magnifier to cross stitch, think it should move higher up on the list! Lol. Love your two pieces! Can't imagine how you did the nine blocks! I have to try that!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love miniatures and your pieces are wonderful. Thanks, again, for the links.

I've always been fascinated with miniatures but certainly don't have the patience to ever try making teeny little quilts. (btw - the third link to the ones on pinterest doesn't work)
