February 14th.

Valentine's Day, according to the flower shops, is their best day of the year for sales! However, Saint Valentine's Day (shortened to Valentine's Day) is a holiday observed on February 14 honouring one or more early Christian martyrs. It is traditionally a day in which lovers express their love for each other by presenting gifts of flowers and / or chocolates and sending cards. Quilters and stitchers often like to mark the month of February by having special heart shaped 'stuff' around either as a hanging, coasters, table topper or small quilt. Me, I'm not into making things for every holiday that comes along. I'd rather just have something to designate the four seasons and Christmas.
