Show & Tell at the Embroidery Guild

Last evening the St. John's Embroidery Guild had their May meeting. I took photos of the items on the Show & Tell table. A couple of them are a bit fuzzy and I apologize for that. Anyway, have a look. Members are as busy as bees these days making items to donate to the guild's auction in the fall. I will post more on this as the date gets nearer.

Show & Tell at the Embroidery Guild

Show and Tell is always a favorite item at the St. John's Guild of Embroiderers. Several arist's cards were brought in. These will be part of an exchange with other stitchers across the country. Last month I reported about Romanian Point Lace by needlework artist, Sylvia Murariu. Several ladies finished their pieces as you can see in the first two photos.

Have a look at the wonderful work that was on display last evening at the St. John's embroidery guild. The piece with the blue and yellow flower is Romanian Point Lace and was designed and created by needlework artist, Sylvia Murariu. Sylvia is visiting and teaching her method of Romanian Lace to members of the guild.
