Flash Back!!

Today I'm posting a few images of work I've done in the past. Since I don't have a studio space yet, I have no where to do any large pieces. Hopefully, plaster and painting will begin next week. I've been told there are fiddly things to be done. My husband is working on it as I write.

Reception at City Hall

On Thursday evening, I will be attending a reception at City Hall to celebrate the City of St. John's Civic Art Collection Acquisitions for 2014 - 2015. My piece, Fisherman's Museum, English Harbour West, was acquired by the city last year. It should be an interesting couple of hours.

Day 4 of Art Challenge

It was a fish day on day 4 of the facebook Art Challenge. These are all textile pieces I have created over the last few years.
Red Fish was purchased by the City of St. John's a number of years ago. It was one of the first 3-D pieces I created.
The tea cozy is in a private collection. I did part with this one.
Flow is part of the Province of Newfoundland Labrador archives. They own several of my pieces.
The Deep was on exhibit in Nova Scotia but not here in Newfoundland. We decided to keep this particular piece.
