Fabric

When I visited It's Sew Time, in Elemsdale, I forgot to show you the piece of fabric I purchased. Since I've been doing some red work (using blue floss), I thought this piece just might fit in with that.
What do you think? It's difficult to tell that the background is more white than it appears. I might do some hand stitching on some of the snowmen or use the fabric as is. I haven't quite decided what I will do with it, but I had to have it.

It's Sew Time

I hope everyone enjoyed Canada Day. I took a road trek, did some walking and had lunch at a lovely outdoor cafĂ©. Then there was a BBQ at supper time.

Tuesday, I posted about It's Sew Time, located in Elemsdale, NS.

Today is my follow up with photos of the smaller quilted pieces hung around the shop. These are beautiful!

I noticed a Long-Arm machine with some quilts on it. I didn't ask about it but I'm assuming you can get your quilts quilted there too. The shop also has patterns, fat quarters, all kinds of interfacing, Steam-a-Seam lite, Aqua Magic, batting, notions, sewing and embroidery machines .  .  . As I said previously, it's got one stop shopping for the quilter. If you are in the area, drop in.

Another Road Trek

Today, I made a trek out to Elemsdale, NS, to visit It's Sew Time. It was a 25 minute trip from Lower Sackville out the highway toward Truro. I met two lovely ladies who are members of the Martine Modern Quilt Guild.

I had a great chat with Suzanne, the owner. she gave me permission to take photos around her quilt shop. There were also some quilted pieces on the wall but I will post photos of those another day.

Have a look at the fabrics! One stop shopping. Everything is there to start a project - big or small.
