Needle Felting Fun
Now it's time to have a look at what I did with the yarns I showed you on Saturday. The various decorative yarns were laid out on a green sheet of felt. These will eventually become Christmas tree ornaments as you can see in the photo. I have experimented with the yarns going in a straight line as well as in a wavy pattern. Some of the trees made before Christmas also had some beading on them. One in particular, was decorated with the glue on crystals. That was a very glittery tree. I will be experimenting with different shapes in the near future.

You are so organized - getting ready for Christmas 2013??? The trees look great.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful Judy! Thanks for a very timely demonstration as I Royally screwed up a batch that I tried to make just last month. I've been giving ALOT of my yarn away as I am just not knitting but see I have to keep some of the interesting stuff!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Mmmm. Love those yarns. I've been experimenting with rovings and yarns to needle felt tiny landscape designs for brooches/wrist cuffs etc. Your lovely trees would be so wearable!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
