Last Day of Summer!

It was 27C and sunny here in Nova Scotia today. I spent the afternoon in Mahone Bay where the town is getting ready for its 20th Scarecrow Festival. Have a look at a few photos of many that I took. I think the former kindergarten teacher in me is evident in a few of these. There are also lots of pirates, fishermen, and traditional type scarecrows to see. If you are in the area, drop by.

I'm also attending the Mahone Bay Quilters, Piecemakers by the Sea, Quilt Show on Friday.

  2. It's always fun at the festival. I didnt make it this year. I would have loved to been able to get to the quilt show.
