Iceberg Shimmers

My newest Shimmer is an iceberg. At the moment, I have one view stitched with a possible two more in the works. This one is based on a real iceberg.

 A few facts about Icebergs:
  • Icebergs are large pieces of freshwater ice that have broken off a glacier or an ice shelf and floats freely in open water
  • Iceberg facts are also found HERE
  • Newfoundland is one of the best places in the world to view Icebergs

  1. Icebergs are fascinating things, but I don't think I'm going to rush to see the real thing. I'm more than happy to look at your version!

  2. What a pretty 'berg! Better seen close up in a replica than in real life on the sea... ;-)

    1. They are nice to watch from shore. Years ago, my husband & I took a boat ride out among the bergs. Fascinating!!
